Concert date: 7/30/99 L.A., CA

Review of the show:
Well I am still in awe and shock from Friday's concert.

I was excited to see that I got 3rd Row seats and further down the section closer to the stage this night.

I also had two open seats next to me, which proved to my advantage so I could see better and get even closer to Whitney.

This is a review of the stuff that was different from my previous night's experience on Thursday of the DIVA!! So read both reviews to get full details. Clive Davis was in attendance again but Babyface and David Foster were absent tonight. Magic Johnson was there too. He is so tall!!

The set listing was the same although she added one song and didn't talk as much this night as the previous.

Her outfit was a black sequined long coat with pink borders, black turtleneck, pink heels and the blue flower pants. I loved this outfit the colors were great on her. So much better than the previous night in the orange and red and bright orange shoes. A+++++ On the outfit.

She sang:

I was worried how she was going to sound after the night before but I was shocked when she came out to Sing:

* Get It Back

* HH

* If I Told You That (danced with me during this song and smiled and waved at me.)

I was up dancing and singing with her. It was the best. Her voice was even better than the night before.

Here she said I am taking you back to (This is where I yelled 1985 she looked at me and smiled and said 1980 1980 um um 1984/5 really fast and then laughed we all clapped. She looked at me again then she came over and sang by us. I was

almost crying with emotion during these two songs.

* You Give Good Love

* Saving All My Love For You. (Still am in love with this version a cappella the best)

* Until You Come Back (Still love this song. Sang better than anyone of the live performances before.)

All these songs were performed with just as much emotion as last night and were great. She kept coming over to where we were sitting. I think I was the only one standing and singing and dancing she kept singing and dancing with me. It was incredible.

* Shoop Shoop

Well She came over and said we are all friends right I need your help to Shoop of course I knew since we were the first section asked we wouldn't win the shoop contest but I was standing and trying to get everyone to sing. She made faces

and wasn't hearing us very loudly so I knew we didn't win.

She told Magic Johnson he can Hoop not shoop and she laughed it was funny. The last section won but she gave everyone and A for effort on the Shooping. Then BeBe Winans joined Whitney onstage. This was incredible he can sing! Whitney had to hold the tears back. She was getting emotional. He sang to her that the

lord shines down on her etc.

* I Learned From The Best

She sang this perfectly she got the last note on this song and I was so proud of her. She failed last night. But came back even stronger tonight. I was really happy and I stood up and was applauding her perfection.

She left to change. Gary Houston did his "Change The World".

Then she came out in this beautiful light Pink flower gown and yellow shoes with red heals and yellow stole. Much better combo then the green from last night. Loved the outfit here too.

This is where we all stood and danced for 4 songs in a row.

* I'm Every Woman

(She descended the stairs and sang the opening great!! She told us (ladies) to

sing this song. She came over to us and smiled again.

Then went into the Remix of (She even said this to her band Remix)

* I Wanna Dance With Somebody

* How Will I Know

They were jamming songs loved the IWDWS version she had a lot of energy here and sang this time. Not just let the backup singers do it. At the end she was sweating I could see if flying everywhere some guy in the front got some on him

and she said oh thanks. And laughed. She was sweating a lot more tonight then last night. I could see it all over here.

Could see Bobby on the side of the stage dancing he really gets into her music and Bobby Kris was sitting talking to Bobby's oldest daughter drinking water. She was dancing too.

* In My Business

This was great. She was shinning her ring on her dress and showing it to everyone. This time the dancers had all the cameras (fake ones) and were

chasing her around. I love this version. So much better than the album. She really shows her emotion about all these people in her business. I was yelling 'you go girl'. She was again singing with me. Since not a lot of people know

this song no one was up dancing except for me.

* I Love The Lord

She went into this after talking about Bobby and how they don't fight all the time and a family that prays together stays together. This is an excellent version.

* I Go To The Rock

Again much emotion in this song. She really shows it in these songs. You can tell it is where she means it a lot.

* My Love Is Your Love

This was the blue light shinning right on me. I was dancing and singing the opening before Bobby Kris came out. Then Bobby Kris came out and they did their dance, which was so cute? And she did her ?Sing Mommy? part great tonight. Bobby came out and they all sang 'Are you with me baby' and bobby kris did her My name is Bobby Kris and I'm here to sing clap your hands. They were all huddled around together it was cute. Also the remix of this is the best. She said remix and they went into it after singing the regular version first. I love this version.

Bobby asked how we were doing. While Whitney did her makeup.

She moved them along a lot faster tonight. This show moved along a lot quicker than last nights. She went from song to song.

Here she did a very emotional song she almost lost it. And she said "Boy that hurt".

She sang

* Abraham, Martin and John (has anybody here...) This was in dedication to a man that is a great loss to America and the World and died well before his time as well as his wife and sister. John F. Kennedy Jr. His wife Carolyn and her sister Lauren. She said she got to meet them

during the Olympics. I didn't realize Whitney met them. It was an emotional song live it didn't hit me during the "Classic Whitney" show as much but Live it really gets into you.

Then She did her Movie Medley.

No dedications tonight even though Clive Davis was there she didn't acknowledge him. She did mention all the actors and directors names of each movie.

* I Believe In You And Me

This was so smooth and the notes were all right on. I love this song Live since I have never heard it live before right in front of me. It was the best.

* Why Does It Hurt So Bad

She hit her head during gotta get you out of my head. It was very intense.

* It Hurts Like Hell

Again love this song. She sings it so well

* I Will Always Love You

Well What Can I say. She hit all the notes. Again I was wondering since she gave such a great performance if she could hit these notes tonight but every song from SAMLFY to ILFTB to IWALY she did!! Before she threw the towel down and stood up during the pause in the song. I said You sing it Whitney!! She heard me and smiled over at me then she did it she threw the towel down and stood up it was great of course everyone was on there feet. She blew us all kisses and took her long bow on her knees. She was so low to the ground. She was blowing everyone kissed at the top of the stairs.

Then everyone was cheering more than last night.

* It's Not Right But It's Okay

She descended in long lime bright green jacket over black turtleneck and the coolest looking pants. They were black with white shiny sequins in flower shapes and black heels with shiny sequins also. I Loved the pants they were so cool!!!

She got everyone moving on this song. She ran up the stairs at the end. Blew us all kisses.

I thought for sure she would come back out since everyone was still yelling. Last night people left before it was even over. But no luck -- the Diva had left. And left us in awe. I will never forget these two concerts as long as I live. She showed us Much Love and Emotion. I was crying at the end before she came out to do INRBIO. She had touched me so close tonight. I will never forget and I Will Always Love Whitney For the Greatest Love of All she can give.
