Concert date: 7/26/99 Denver, CO

Review of the show:
Hi all.

Well Whitney did make it last night to Denver and she was unbelievable. I was very concerned that since she had just canceled her two previous dates that Denver was next. Whitney did not dissappoint. I got my tickets through the Platinum club and was blown away... front row, center section. It was very apparent that Whitney was not completely well. She wasn't hitting all those high notes she had apparently been hitting but that was fine. She was obviously tired but I think that she wanted to do the Denver date as a show of support for all the folks in Littleton. She even did a song dedicated to those lost at the Columbine shooting ... as she sang her eyes filled with tears. This was soo moving... everyone was in tears.

Since this was an outdoor concert... it was a little on the breezy side, but aside from that the show was awesome. I have to really admire Ms. Whitney for wanting to go on with the show even though it was apparent she was not feeling well. Funny thing is even when she couldn't hit all the high notes...her voice was fantastic. So much power, so much control, incredible. She has such a strong stage presence... the audience was going nuts. I'd pay another $100 to see her again... it was definetly worth it.
