Concert date: 7/21/99 Atlanta, GA

Review of the show:
Well, first of all I have to say that this was my very first Whitney Houston concert!!! Truthfully I did not know what to expect. I prayed that she would do a good show and after going to the concert I know my prayer was answered. 112 opened and did a gre at job, but you could tell that the audience was anxious to see Whitney. She arrived on stage at around 9:15. At 9:00 people started clapping and chanting "Whitney", hoping that she would come out. When she finally did it was amazing. She wore teal sequin ed pants that had many colorful flowers on it. She wore that with a longsleeve black turtleneck and a black sequined jacket that was completely outlined with hot pink sequins. She wore the red snakeskin leather boots also. Whitney was hitting every note. She started adding high notes just for fun. I couldn't believe her energy. I couldn't keep track of the order of all the songs, but I do remember which ones she sang........off the new album she sang, GIB, HH, MLIYL, INRBIO, IITYT, IMB, ILFTB, UYCB. Durin g MLIYL little Bobbi-Kristina came out and helped Whitney sing "clap your hands". Then Bobby Brown came out and he sang a little. Whitney and BK got some dance moves together and the audience exploded because it was so cute. During Exhale (Shoop, Shoop) W hitney got the whole audience into the "Shoop". Whitney then changed clothes and came back out with a gorgeous marroon gown with a yellow fur coat and yellow heels. She sang HWIK and that tore down the roof. A little later on she sang IEW. I have never he ard an audience so loud in my life. Whitney couldn't believe it either. She kept bowing and she had to tell us to be quiet.

The other songs she sang were, SAMLFY, YGGL, IWDWS(WLM), IBIYAM/WDIHSB--then went into the Aretha Franklin song "It Hurts Like H ell". Now it was time for church and Whitney did some preaching. She sang ILTL and IGTTR. I have never seen so much energy in all my life. After she finished those songs she was literally worn out. She then introduced her band. Bobby came back out in IBIY AM and he kissed her and told her how much he loved her. Her closer was IWALY and the audience was on its feet. She hit every note and it was so amazing. Then she left and we all chanted "Whitney" again.....she came back wearing the same gown but with a green fur coat. And as soon as she started singing INRBIO the audience started screaming. This was the best experience of my life. It was worth the money. She is truly blessed by God and she has the best voice in the world. Now I know why she is called "T HE VOICE"!!
