Review of the show:

"In My Business"
I can't stand this song on the CD, but it was better live. WH made a story out of it. "Me and my family are doing just fine thank you". And the "get a job!" bit she says to the media. That was OK. But what I liked about it was the choreography. It was really well executed.

"I Love the Lord"
Charles W. (among other ppl) phoned me to get my review. He asked me about this song specifically. So was it good? yes. But sorry, the one in Paris 98 was a little bit better. Only cuz WH cried in Paris. Anyways, it's a beautiful song no matter where WH sings it. Short and sweet. WH really does lover her lord.

"I Go To the Rock"
Whitney had to explain to the crowd that she was "from church". Sorry, Nippy, but this ain't the USA and Baptist/gospel choirs are about a common here as hockey is in the ghetto. This is my fave song off the Preacher's Wife Sndtrk, but I would like for WH to move on, now. There are millions of gospel songs. Pick ONE that U haven't sung in concert b4. I know you know several hundred songs all by your lonesome. Like "I'm Coming Up On the Rough Side of the Mountain" or any other song U sang all those years in church choir(s). I wish the variety of gospel songs available to her wouldn't go to waste. It took a minute, but she has ppl clapping to the beat by the end of this song.

"My Love Is You Love"
This is MY song of the latest album. WH introduced the song as "the new single". And WH barely sung it. Daughter Bobbi-Kris came on stage and WH spent more time hugging, nose-kissing, and minding her daughter than she did singing the song. This is THE song that would sell the new album to every single person in the crowd, no matter the age group. It was a missed opportunity. Whitney didn't sing half of the [beautifully haunting] lyrics in the verses. She straight out stopped singing to kiss her daughter. It ruined MY song. I wanted to hear the WHOLE thing, not in fits and starts.     :-(
BK did her part at the end. Yeah, it's cute, but I would trade BK for the lyrics in their entirety.
