Diva Whitney and Divaless Brandy

IWALY:
This performance was in my eyes the climax of the show. Whitney sung like she had something to prove and she proved the hell out of that song. She was in rare forms. Incredible intonation, flawless runs, jut remarkable.

It's Not right but It's OK:
This performance was much better than the Soul Train Awards. She was more involved with the song vocally this time. She gave the song power and fullness. She also was much more attentive to the crowd this time. Maybe it was because she was doing this for her favorite cause. CHILDREN!! She rocked the house!!!

Ain't No Way:
I love when Whitney performs oldies and jazz. I think it is something that brings out her true voice and passion. She performed this song better than she performed it on Classic Whitney. With the help of Mary J (who really performed her ass off, she was incredible)they really brought the house down with Aretha's classic.

My Love Is Your Love:
On this song she was also in rare form again with runs and adlibs and just the whole Whitney persona. She was happy and excited. It was like she couldn't wait to give you more.

I'm Every Woman:
Even though I do love this song and she did a great job. Chaka Kahn dissapointed me to no end. Her voice just doesn't carry the hard vocals like Whitney's. She sounded like she was screaming the whole time. Now don't get me wrong, Chaka Kahn is one of my all time favs. I thought that they should have done a different duet together like one of Chaka's more mellow hits like "The Places You'll Find Love" which she did with Sieda Garrett. But anyhow Whitney was amazing.

Tina: Was magnificent although she should have done "Proud Mary" with the backup girls dancing with her. What a legend!!

Cher: Beautiful voice. Just incredible.

Elton John: He's great but the show said "DIVAS 99" Not "QUEENS 99"

Lee Ann Rimes: I cannot say more about her. Her voice was pristine. I never really listened to her but she has such a strong voice. Her and Whitney should have done a country duet together. That would have been incredible!! That little girl sang her heart out for her fans and for the cause. She is a true diva.

Brandy: HORRIBLE!!!!! (Sorry if the truth hurts!)

Faith Hill: with Brandy...HORRIBLE!! Solo...OK...

Whitney: A GODESS!!!!!!

Bobbie Kris: CUTE!!!

Mary J: Queen of Hip Hop Soul (You go girl!!!)

Chaka Kahn: I will wait to see her in concert by herself.
