Diva of ALL Diva's

IWALY:
This song is a classic and will go down in the history books as being just that. Whitney sung this song to perfection, her presence was just heavenly standing there in the spotlight.
It's Not right but It's OK:
This song definatly shows Whitney's diversity between great classics, moving ballads, love songs, and pop songs like INRBIO. Whitney moved more in this song than Tina did in her whole segment, Whitney defintaly took control of the stage, all though I do think he hair could have been done better I did like the red leather.
Ain't No Way:
This song brought the house down, Mary and Whitney moved me in such a way that I have never been before. The power and emotion behind there voices gave no doubt that these are some great diva's, watch out Aretha I do think Whitney and Mary did this one better than you.
My Love Is Your Love:
I have always liked this song from the beginning, I think it says so much, and Whitney definatly delivered a wonderful performance during this song.
I'm Every Woman:
All of Whitney's songs were wonderful, but I have to say that this one I put on the bottom of the list, Chaka did add a special flair to song with Whitney and I do say that they pulled it off real well, it just didn't reach out to me like the others, and what was with Tina and Cher, they didn't come out to do this song.
Overall impressions on 'Divas Live' Show:
Overall I think this concert outdid last years. I loved last years Diva's live but Diva's 99 was no doubt the better of the two. Tina did a wonderful job, you gotta love Tina. Cher was okay, I have never been that big of a Cher fan and I still can't see how "Believe" has been that successful, its good and I like it, but I don't think its that great. Brandy Disappointed me a little, she still hasn't gotten over her stage fright, and the thing is it only happens when she is performaning, other than that she was rather perky and outgoing during her other parts. Vocally she just wasn't ready but she did start to come out of her shell when the second part of her medly started "Almost doesn't Count", but then her duet with Faith looked like it had been unpracticed and that they weren't sure of each other. They kept looking at each other to find their split harmony parts, and then when they found them they would look back at the audience at that kept going on for several minutes of the song. I ain't even gonna start on Elton, he had about one too many songs in the show. Leeann was okay she did pretty well, nothing outstanding. But I do think that the ending was rather abrupt. I would have rather seen all of the Diva's come out and sing one song all together like they did last year, but then again maybe they were trying to avoid any Diva trouble like last years between Aretha, Carole, and Celine during the closing song, watch VH1 Pop-Up video on last years Diva's Live to get all the gossip.
