Whitney Houston performed "America The Beautiful" at Superbowl XXV in 1991. Her performance was released as the B-side on the "The Star Spangled Banner" charity single that was issued that year, benefiting Gulf War veterans. The single was re-released following U.S. terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.
Oh beautiful for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain
America! I love you, America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good
With brotherhood
From sea to shining sea
