Although, I didn't enjoy it as much as Waiting to Exhale it is a wonderful family movie with themes involving faith, hope and love..... Whitney and Denzel have great chemistry! When Whitney smile, she lights up the screen! The co-stars including Loretta Devine and Jennifer Lewis are hysterical! Whitney sings a gospel song that isn't on the soundtrack, and many of the soundtrack songs are not in the movie! Whitney has an adorable son in the movie, that practically steals each scene he's in because he's so cute. The gospel songs are sung differently in the movie... especially "Hold On, Help Is On the Way". Whitney looks outstanding, especially when she's smiling, which is a lot in this movie and I think her acting is getting a little better with progression... Her mother has a speaking part (A litle nepotism I guess but AT LEAST Bobby isn't riding on his wife's coat-tails once again!)
