Whitney's "The Preacher's Wife" was released in December
1996, co-starring Denzel Washington and directed by Penny Marshall. Whitney
co-produced the movie soundtrack which featured hits including "I Believe
In You And Me" and "Step By Step," as well as gospel tracks including "I
Go To The Rock" and "Joy To The World." The soundtrack became the best-selling
gospel album of all time.
