Cinderella 97'

I thought that the movie was excellent from beginning to end. I believe Whitney made a good decision in choosing Brandy to play the princess. She made a beautiful Cinderella. The prince, Paolo Montalban, was great. I think he's got a great future ahead of him. Bernadette Peters was a very believable wicked stepmother. The two stepsisters were good, but I thought they were actually nicer to Cinderella in this version than the original, and finally there's the fairy godmother! What a fairy godmother! Whitney Houston was superb, both in the acting and singing! I think she should make more musicals like this. My favorite songs in the film were: "Impossible," "In My Own Little Corner," and "There's Music in You."
