The vibrant and dance-filled music of "The Cheetah Girls Soundtrack" features original songs performed by the movie's cast: Raven (also star of Disney Channel's hit series "That's So Raven"), Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams (of the R&B/pop group 3LW), and Sabrina Bryan (of "The Bold & The Beautiful"). Based on the wildly successful book series by Deborah Gregory, published by Jump at the Sun, a division of Disney Worldwide Publishing, "The Cheetah Girls" is an upbeat movie for kids and families that follows four multi-talented New York City teens from dissimilar homes and economic backgrounds -- a cultural melting pot of Black, Italian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban heritages -- who have a dream to take the world by storm with their music group. They develop a hip, playful "slanguage" and a credo that suggests all Cheetah Girls are created equal but not alike. All the while, they navigate "cheetah-licious" fashion, boys (including their musical arch rival), family, and parents.
