>Lisa, I LOVE "W". I can just see the tie in with Conde Nast
>and "W" magazine right now. It would be a powerful alliance
>for Whitney's project... maybe?

LOL! "W" magazine with a great Whitney picture on the cover. That mental image is going to be stuck in my head now. :)

>Personally I don't care for the "Believe" title
>either, I don't hate it but it's nothing special.

I think "Believe" is vapid.

>Who cares
>anyways as long as they include songs on the album :)
>Hopefully it will be a lot of songs (at least 14), I would
>be a little disappointed if it's 10-12.

Whitney's album's usually don't have quite that many tracks on them. Fourteen really strong tracks would be wonderful, but I'd rather have 10-12 if the extra tracks aren't as good as the rest of the album.

I would love for her to experiment with interludes and cool song transitions this time around, which would extend the tracklist, but as far as actual songs, I want 14 solid tracks as well. We don't need a single sequence dilemma on this project. I hate when u can't pick a single. We don't really need 4 songs that target the same audience, style. Hopefully, this is not a concept album.

I know... The thing is there have been sooooooooo many producers mentionned to work with Whitney and it seems that she has been working on this album for a long time, so I wouldn't be shocked if the album has more songs then usual. But of course quality should always come before quantity, but I don't think they would have a lot of problem putting over 14 GREAT songs because of the amount of producers/writers working on the album, they will have the best of each and it would still make a lot of songs.

LMAO!!!!! I was bored during my 1st day of school today, and during Theology I was thinking of our chat last night and how Vinny said something like "This Is For Da Po Po" ROTFLMAO! I liked that one the most!

I think "W" is kinda cheesy.....cause could you imagine the advertising on TV/Radio spots, etc....."On October 1, check out "W" from Whitney Houston" LOL!

I'm sorry but I really do love the title "Whatchulookinat". You can apply it in many different ways. To the press, a woman cheating on her man, etc,.....Who knows.....it can happen :)

I think I am just seeing "W" on all of her promo material and thinking how ##### it would look to just have a simple "W" on all of her pictures and stuff or W2.Com would be tight because everything else cool is already taken.

okay, lets face the reality. the artist of the year award is almost always given to someone relatively new to the music scene, or someone who is extraordinarily old and has been long since in the music scene. the grammies are looking for high ratings so the nominees will be whoever is new and hot, (ie, eminems nods last year, F.#####!) . whitney has just been around too long and remained steady for too long to snag one of these. she is just like madonna in that sense, you know, 'music' was a huge hit and was nominated for some grammies, but she just wasn't going to get one, because she has been there, done that, and it is someone else's turn. same goes for whitney. the only way that this may work is if this album is a HUGE hit and is considered a tremendous comeback album (ie madonna's 'ray of light' -- i am sorry to always compare whitney to madonna, but they are the same in alot of ways). unless that happens, and she re-becomes a huge pop culture phenomenon, then she probably won't get the nods. LETS JUST HOPE THIS NEW ALBUM BLOWS UP MONEY.

Definitely the latter. I don't like the W idea.

>I don't want the album to be called
>"Whatchulookinat," that's for sure. :)

Ditto. lol I was thinking "Isn't It Beautiful?", but I guess that would come across a tad bit conceited. lol

>>uhhhh, The Heat sold more them MLIYL first week :)
>
>That's not saying much :o

I agree with Tyree. 'My Love Is Your Love' was eventually certified 4x-Platinum. And 'The Heat?' It currently stands at 2x-Platinum. Enough said!
