http://www.forbes.co...ripped-off-tmz/ Exclusive: I told you last week about the photo of Whitney Houston taken in her coffin and sold to the National Enquirer. The funeral parlor claimed they had an employee who saw Raffles van Exel, a sort of hanger-on in Whitney’s posse and friend of Pat Houston, her sister in law, take the photo. Now comes word that other pictures that had appeared on TMZ.com, taken right after Whitney died, were also the work of van Exel. One picture, of a body covered with a white sheet being taken out of the Beverly Hilton Hotel on a gurney, was headlined by TMZ as “Whitney on a gurney.” The tabloid website will be sad to hear they were fooled. A person who was in the hallway (see picture) tells me the “body” under the white sheet was Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s daughter. She was taken to Cedars Sinai Hospital twice after her mother died. Bobbi Kristina wrapped the sheet over her head so as not to be seen. Unfortunately, when Whitney’s body was removed from the hotel much later, it was not under a sheet, but in an official coroner’s body bag–the blue or back kind you see on TV shows that get zipped up. The only person in the group other than family and Houston’s publicist Kristen Foster (seen on the far left) was van Exel. Then there were pictures that appeared almost simultaneously on TMZ of Houston’s bathtub, food tray, and food cart from her room. According to my source, only three people had access to Houston’s room at the point those pictures were taken–Pat Houston, her husband, Gary (Whitney’s half-brother), and Raffles van Exel. van Exel, who may nor may not be in the U.S. legally, has quite a history with celebrities. I’ve told you in prior posts about his relationship to singer George Benson. And that van Exel was claiming to be Chaka Khan’s manager. He also has quite a connection to O.J. Simpson. To be continued… --------- i just don't get it..how do you get so close? being the only person in the room besides pat and gary? i mean, he is a nobody, a con artist, how in the world? smh
Yea, after robbing George Benson of $25,000. smh is right, 'cause he was a known crook even before all this; it's not like his vcon man video was just created last month. The standard answer is to blame it on Whitney, you know, "You couldn't tell Whitney anything," "if Whitney hadn't wanted him around, he would not have been allowed," "Whitney had a mind of her owe," etc, etc. But, I think it is nearing the end for this guy; the truth will out; it always does. If indeed it was him, I am just hoping that someone has the decency to clear the cloud over the reputation of the funeral home and its owner when all is said and done. That is the only decent thing to do.
How could anyone blame Whitney?? It is clear who trusted him and invited him into their tight knit circle the writing is spray painted on the wall.

I don't blame Whitney, and I don't think that makes any sense either, but that's what the standard excuse seems to be for those who were involved in enabling some of the things that occurred (especially after her father stopped managing her). Personally, I have no doubt that Whitney delegated things like background checks, calling up references, etc. Indeed, I doubt if Whitney would have known how to do a google search without Krissi, 'cause she did not seem much interested in high tech (that cellphone was utilitarian, to say the least). But, the bottom line is that everything is being put all on Whitney (who is not here to defend herself) and I don't expect that to change when the whole story of this Raffles guy comes out. That's all I meant to say.

Well I hope he's never in arms reach of a Whitney Houston fan ever again in his life. I surely hope he's never in my arms reach. I don't wanna spend my life in jail.
