The Bodyguard – 20th Anniversary Event

NCM Fathom and Warner Bros. present The Bodyguard – 20th Anniversary Event on Wednesday, March 28th at 7:30PM (local time) in Select Movie Theaters Nationwide. Re-experience one of the most memorable movies of the 90’s on the big screen for only one night.

The Bodyguard, directed by Mick Jackson and starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston is the story of a pop phenomenon who hires a bodyguard to protect her against a stalker making violent threats. The bodyguard’s (played by Kevin Costner) overcautious actions disturb the pop singer and her entourage, but ultimately fate steps in. The pop singer (played by Whitney Houston) begins to believe in her bodyguard and eventually falls in love with the man who saves her life.

Maaaaaan :(

I just got SO excited! First of all, not only is it a night I wouldn't be able to go, it's not even playing anywhere near me. Oh well, I'd be a slobbering crying mess in the theatre anyway.

i have a question about the movie..my mom always told me how she went to watch it when it came out in theatres and how when she'd watch it later on tv, some scenes were missing..i recall something about the lake house part of the movie, not really sure what was the scene..and i see some people now commenting the same, about some scenes that are missing..since i was born in 1992, i didn't have the chance to see it in theatres..anyway, the question is, there are different versions or what? i'd really like to get my hands on that un-cut version..

Yes, there are a few minor differences. But typically only enough that a Whitneyfan would notice. It doesn't change the plot of the movie any.
