On the other hand, I just saw this and could help but laugh. During the Zurich concert after singing IWALY, Whitney said: "Do you know how much it takes to get that out? I have a seventeen year old daughter, are you kidding me?" That's my Nippy. I also remember when she held that note for an eternity and then said to the audience "Can you hold it that long?" :giggle:

These small things can always make my day.

You know you think your okay and at peace and then the slightest thing can set you off and you find yourself in tears.

I saw a picture of a building screen in times sqaure that was playing her funeral and theres people in the street watching. Real? Check.

BLEEP!.

I just went and ran some errands around town. I was waiting at a light and was having a cigarette listening to I'm Knockin' on the IYBT album and started laughing and shaking my head at her vocal runs towards the end of the song because she's just so sick. Well the music must have been loud enough for the car next to me to hear and as I just happened to turn my head to the side this frumpy old lady in passenger seat was just smiling at me and nods her head as if to say "she is so sick" right back at me. (Her window was open as well) It was such an incredible feeling.

Now what does a little old white lady know about Im Knockin?" Thats not even the thing about it. Its the fact she recognized the voice and enjoyed hearing Whitney do what only she can do.

That made me feel good. I wanted to share.

(The auto save content feature is awesome, what a lifesaver!!, lol I almost lost this post)

Yes I remember this moment! I also know it so well because it's one of the many versions of IWALY I put on my iPod (even though I don't listen to it). I put it on because I LOVE the arrangement, I loved the "i will always love youuuuuuu youuuu iiii i will aaallllwayyyyyyys, always love youuuuu ill always love you, ill always love you ill always, ill always love you, ill always looooove you, ill always, ill always love, love youuuuu" LOVE THAT SO MUCH! And that final note? So clear!

Oh how I miss her. 2 months and it still feels like yesterday.

I agree...I feel good one day and them start thinking about the what ifs again. I couldn't even stand to look at te sparkle pics today! I love the one of her where she's sitting in te audience,....and then started thinking that I would have loved to see her being honored at Kennedy center honors years from now...she deserved to sit back and get the validation...today has been hard....".......

Hi I am new to this site I am also having a hard time dealing with the loss of Whitney I thought it was strange since I didn't know her but I see that a lot of people are having a hard time also. I just wish the we could turn back the clock and someone could save her. I know this can't happen but I know that she is safe and happy and is not suffering anymore

Tonight has been a breakthrough. I have been on Youtube for hours watching only nbl tour videos. Non stop. I love them. Her voice, the way she changes up IWALY, interacting with the audience, the funny moments, (the sad moments), the gowns, the hair, all of it. I'm obsessed all over again.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get back to:my NBL tour obsession (so to speak).

I miss Whitney......

I miss Whitney......

The (sad moments) came in when I was really missing her.

But the tour stuff I mean, I can't count how many videos I've watched tonight. So many amazing notes she held, such power and emotion she was putting in. And those gowns...wow...yeah you know lol. That black one shoulder one...YEP! lol

And although the quality of the videos aren't always great, I LOVE hearing her voice when she sings, talks, laughs...oh and I totally forgot about her freakin on her dancers lol...not that I blame her ;) lol. It was just her having fun up there. I miss it. I miss that I'll never get to see that live. But I did live it on the board, and i'll live it through the videos.

Yesterday night (I was up till 4 am) and also today I watched a lot of Whitney videos too: I recorded all my old stuff (which were on video casettes, I wanted to do this for a long time) to dvds. From Classic Whitney concert to Divas concerts, other appearances, interviews and video clips mainly from MLIYL era and Just Whitney era. It's amazing how all those memories came back suddenly. I still remember each and every moment sooo clearly. When I miss her, I know I can go back to watch these archieves but it will never be the same. Our life will never be the same. :crying:
Hold on, everyone  We're in the same shoes, nobody understands my feelings but my Whitney-Fan "family".

Liz, I'm so sorry you didn't have the opportunity to see her live. You'd surely deserve it so much, you're a great fan!

Thank you for your kind words. I do wish I could've seen her live, I will always think about how amazing it would've been. But there are many fans on here who haven't seen her perform live either who surely deserve it as well.
