The last handful of shows when her headvoice was gone she only did the first verse of IWALY. It's her concert, she changes things when she likes, she added AAO a few weeks ago out of the blue...and recently she has added SBS with INRBIO.

I am so happy I attended the Nottingham gig. We got a rather impressive IWALY,SBS and INRBIO!!!

The most money Whitney Houston earns is from touring. She earns very minimal money from the album. Even if the album sells a lot. I think she produced a few songs on the album, so she will get royalties from that. And obviously, her voice is on the album, so she will get royalties for that too. But it's not as much as what she makes on the tour. Averagely, a ticket is around £75. Averagely, she plays to around a 15,000 audience.

rough estimate
£75 x 15,000 capacity x 50 tour dates = £56,250,000

£56,250,000 = $82,724,063

This is just average. She probably grosses in more than that. Some of that goes to the arena staff as well as security, her band etc.

That's a lot of money lol. I wouldn't mind being Whitney Houston lol.

The 3 London shows grossed $5million, she played to 41,000 people.

The production costs for the show are definitely not that high compared to other pop stars doing world tours. This tour should mean she doesn't have to worry about money for the rest of her life.

This isn't Rhianna Kevin, it's Whitney Houston. She's from another era in the music industry, especially Whitney. 100 million dollar contract for 6 albums is approximately 16.7 Million per album. That's not little money by no means. LOL.

I´m typing my review now hehe and watching the youtube clips, they are amazing, but they are nor even close to how she sounded in The Globe, I do not understand what it is, but youtube clips do not do her justice, not even when she sounds amazing in them!

I´m following this forum for a while now - as it seems there are more informations than at Whitney´s HP...
Maybe I missed sth? - I´m eagerly awaiting your review, Pontus. I can´t wait

I absolutely love that IDKMOS. Her voice is so angelic but powerful. I love the "my faith kept me.. alive". I love the "alive" bit. Goes straight through me. This is the song on the setlist she adds the most emotion to. It's the end of the show, and her vocals are still going very strong. It's amazing. Her stamina is back. Wow. I love the way she has changed the melody on another song and made it sound better. I've love Diane Warren and David Foster to be in concert while she's singing this song this way. They would be mezmorized. I'm telling you. I had goosebumps from the beginning of this IDKMOS till the very end. x

So here`s my question: Is that really Whitney ??? Sje looks so different. I saw her 3 times in concert
but she never looked like that. Maybe it`s the wrong light or she was only tired. What do you think ???

That $100million dollar contract isn't effectively her own money though. That money is used to pay, not only for herself, but for her team too - for studio time, flights to and from studios, writers, producers, promotion, music videos directors and producers, make up artists, fashion designers, photoshoots for the album, banners, posters. The list is endless. I doubt each album will use that 16.7 million. But the majority of her earnings is from her tours.

I'm aware she makes most of her money from touring, as do most artists. I'm just trying to clear it up for you that the money she makes per album is no where near "minimal".
