I have a clip of a new Mariah Carey song called Tonight. The song features Nelly, and Pharrell. If somone can upload it for me I will glady share it so we can discuss it...

I kinda liked the first song "Say Something." This one has more music to it. The beat is reminiscent to Nelly's Hot In Herre. It sounds like the Neptunes took Nelly's beat retooled it added some stuff, took out some stuff, and gave it to Mariah. It's usual Mariah with rappers on the track. I can grow to like it, but what I am really waiting to hear is a track where she cuts loose and belts like we all know she can. Enough of the whispers girl, SING!

I have the full songs "Tonight" and "Say Something"... All I can say is this: If this is the "real" Mariah, than it's obvious that if it wasn't for Tommy Mottola controlling her career and forcing her to stay dressed, make good music and to actually sing, she would have never surpassed 1 platinium of any of her albums and she would have never become a big star. The "real Mariah" is CRAP. That's all.

No I agree, mariah needs to start singing. We know she can do it. She why isn't she. She whispers and doesn't sing. Do you think it's possible she lost her powerful voice screeching all those years? cuz i said it would happen. Those are not power whistle notes people say they are, their demented screeches that rip her vocal chords apart when she does them.

I so agree with you there. I was recently saying the same thing to a friend of mine about Mariah's career. Such a shame and a waste of a great voice.
And for the record, I don't think Mariah has lost her belt. I just think that this is the music she wants to do. Bless her heart!
