He's been with us from the beginning, he has run two different fan sites over the years, and he is level-headed and thoroughly dedicated to Whitney Houston and this site. I could think of no one better suited to run a future spinoff site that will operate in conjunction with the rest of Whitney-Fan.com than our very own ... Mind Speaker! Larry will run the spinoff site, but please don't ask him what it is, because he won't tell you yet! LOL
He's been banned from the board three times (none by me). He has a posting record that is second to only one. Some people say he lives at Whitney-Fan.com. He's a banner designer extraordinaire and BBS entertainer, and he somehow managed to get married, have a baby and post at the same time. You guessed it! The main BBS now has a new moderator ... the one and only Terrence! But Terrence will not be alone. He will have a partner in crime. Mind Speaker will also serve as co-moderator of the main forum.
Our next moderator will be managing a new forum dedicated to graphics design called the Whitney-Fan.com Design Lab. It will be a central location where you can discuss banners, preview your ideas, post tips and tutorials, and let your creativity run free! I'm hoping it will become a place where everyone can work together to really expand their abilities. While you'll still be able to debut your banners in the main forum, this graphics forum will give you a lot more room to play with, and I hope you'll use it. Besides banners, it can also be a design center for avatars, icons, smileys, wallpaper, member requests and more! To manage this forum, I have selected the fabulous banner designer Clemsonfight!
Our blogs moderator can spot an obscure Whitney Houston poll or link in a single bound. For moderating our personal blogs, I need someone with eagle eyes, who will pay attention to small things and have enough political sensitivity to notice items that might be offensive, racist, et al. Please welcome PontusFromSweden as our blogs moderator!
Our personal galleries also need to be reviewed for potentially offensive photos (racist, sexist, etc.) To take on this important job, I have enlisted our very own Kevin as our galleries moderator! As a member for the past year, he has made a name for himself as a prolific banner designer and Whitney Houston fanatic. He'll be in charge of making sure offensive photos do not get to share a URL with Whitney-Fan.com.
Please congratulate the moderating team, and go easy on everyone as they adjust to their new roles! We are all here to help. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and to everyone on the team! There will be more opportunities to help in the future.
