I've just been so hyped this entire weekend! And know that I'm finally home and relaxing, I can tell everyone about it. Some false starts heading to NJ aside, my trip was amazing lol! I'm going to reference everyone involved via twitter handles. @geneva79 @mama2g_09 and I stayed up for the midnight show in NJ, OF COURSE! I didn't cry me eyes out as much as I thought I would, but all that went out the window when I saw HEIOTS. Yea...that had me doing the ugly cry! Now, we all knew Celebrate would play at the end of the movie and I wanted @geneva79 @mama2g_09 and I to do a lil celebration of our own and dance through the aisles! But...I was the only one doing it & I GOT MY LIFE! Every night we saw Sparkle in fact! I had a microphone that lit up & confetti shooters and EVERYTHING! Later Friday night, we met up with @mndspeak88 and saw it in NYC and lemme tell you, that audience was LIVE! As soon as Emma's bedroom door opened, they just cheered and then again after HEIOTS. Sidebar, Jordin's final performance was pretty damn good! I know Whitney was truly proud of her. Now, Saturday was probably the most loving yet emotional day we had. By this time @geneva79 @mama2g_09 @mndspeak88 and I had met up with @ezbreezyt @luv4dadmv and @oo_aight. We all wanted to tour some of Whitney's old stompin grounds and had some fun along the way. Our tour began with us going to New Hope Baptist Church. Now Whitney was playing on the iPod but as soon as pull up to the church, Jesus Loves Me comes on. How eerie is that?! Whitney was our guide this day and we all just had to stop and just take her in. And I apologize to my group now for wanting to go on our last stop. We went to go see her and I think that experience would be better kept reserved for us. Funny though, I thought of times past when I've gone to my own mother's grave and remembered what she did for me and that it was up to me to live a life she'd be proud of. That's what I thought as we paid our never ending respect to Whitney. But in the midst of this, we had to remember we were all brought together, to celebrate! We all went back to NYC to see Sparkle for the 3rd time and I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa, Rhoda and Rachael from the board! All in all, I could NOT have asked for a better group of people to have spent this weekend with, you are my family. And lastly, because so many people have taken an interest in the shirts I've made, I've decided to go and have more ordered. If anyone wants one, they are $30 but I have to have at least an order of 12 before I can get them made. If I can get them a lower quantity, I'll let you all know asap. Unashamed21@gmail.com

The pictures are amazing, you all look so good! And I love the re-cap! I read it a few times lol. I have to tell you, I was SO TEMPTED into just leaving, getting on a plane and jetting out there, I wanted to SO BAD! But, I'm so happy you all had a great time, and the shirts are awesome! I love mine. Wish I could've been there to dance through the aisles with you, except knowing me I'd probably slip on some popcorn and break something lmao!

I don't why I didn't look at the album cover first lol, I just got caught up in the moment. I'm mad we missed each other too

LOL I wouldn't be surprised. But I loved hearing about the weekend and everyone's accounts of it. It's so great that so many were able to get together, all because of Whitney.
