Whitney sings "Winners All" with Barbara Mandrell, John Denver and Marvin Hamlisch at the Special Olympics in '87. (Same day she did DWAHIA and LWSTD.)

Amazing! Hadn't seen this one before.
She sung DWAHIA at the same event...

Whitney and Cissy singing together kinda makes the scenes we had of them at GMA all the more special

This is a snippet with her singing a little of You Are Everything (originally by the Stylistics) with Paul Shaffer (sp??)--Letterman's little bald music guy. I'm sure it has already been mentioned before but I couldn't find for a while and came across it again this afternoon. She looked so gorgeous sitting there, but that's nothing new.

I think it's a classic example of Whitney's ability to sing any lyric with heartfelt feeling... even in sotto voce with a guy who's obviously not a singer.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

I've always loved this clip. Her voice was so smooth and so effortless.

I never noticed the part in this show where she is singing SAMLFY and instead of singing "we'll be making love the whole night through" she says "we'll be holding each other the whole night through". I never noticed that before.

I was actually singing along and got the words wrong, I felt like an idiot lol. Was this just because it was on a TV show?

Yep!  That would have never made it past primetime network censors in the 80's, believe it or not (although I find it funny that the raciness of "All in the Family" did in the 70's, but two totally different eras, demographics, and discussions, LOL!).

Exactly, there was worse stuff on television, and it's even funny to think of it now, with what they are showing and saying these days. I loved the episode anyway.
