NAACP Image Awards on NBC is about to do a tribute in a few minutes. I'm sure the clip will be online later for those of you who can't view it.

I will be soooo glad because this show is boring. I wonder if they're gonna have Loretta & jenifer Lewis speak?

I hope clips are up soon. They showed clips of Whitney recieving awards before, showed Cissy singing, and then Yolanda Adams sang "I Love the Lord." I love JHud but I thought this was a MUCH better tribute than the one at the Grammys... even if seeing her name on another "In Memoriam" segment brought me to tears again.

The tribute from Yolanda was powerful! I loved it. And the 20/20 tribute is showing pictures and footage I've never seen.

LOVE the NAACP tribute. Cissy singing to Whitney followed by Yolanda's power vocals and the audience reaction... the best tribute. Very Whitney

Aretha on dateline: probably 1st time she's spoken of Whitney & not managed to cast the slightest shadow of shade. I actually respect the way Aretha handled the interview.

Oh really? I'll have to check that out later... been watching this 20/20 special. I'm having mixed feelings about it.

Yolanda was on fire! That was the best award show performance I've seen in years.

20/20 isn't showing the best tribute...

They showed some great rare footage and pictures but they focus too much on other things

Who the hell is this ugly woman on 20/20 talking out the side of her neck w/ all this misinfo? These "experts & journalists" made me turn off the tv. I'm goin to bed so I can be fresh for the the real memorial tomorrow. Ugggh!

Yeah cuz now she see's that level of sucess just puts you in the grave at 50 years old and she's prolly not jealous anymore.

I'm still not happy she's singing tomorrow considering that BLEEP! has been throwing shade since day1 whiel Whitney went out of her way to throw her praises right through Sparkle too.

I have to agree with you. But considering how Aretha acted at the first Divas Live and when Beyonce was called "queen" it just shows Aretha is insecure.
