Bobbi Kristina is one step closer to following in her mom’s famous footsteps. A little more than a month after her mom’s untimely death, the famous daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown seals the deal on a TV role, thanks to family friend and entertainment mogul Tyler Perry.
Tyler, who spoke at Whitney’s funeral and allowed the Houston family to use his private jet to bring her body back to New Jersey, has offered Bobbi Kristina a recurring role on his successful TBS sitcom "For Better or Worse," according to Straight From the A. Bobbi Kristina will be featured in a recurring role as the daughter of one of the stylist’s in the beauty shop owned by TV character Angela (Tasha Smith).
Bobbi has even been spotted on several occasions at Tyler’s Atlanta based studios. Pat Houston, Bobbi’s aunt and her mom’s former manager, sister-in-law and best friend has also been seen on the premise. There's speculation that Pat was there to manage and negotiate Bobbi's contract.
Based on his movie Why Did I Get Married? and sequel, Why Did I Get Married Too?, the sitcom has been picked up for a second session. TBS has ordered 35 more episodes, which will begin airing in July.
News of a TV career is a good look for young Bobbi Kristina. Dad Bobby Brown on the other hand, recently made headlines for a bad role—an alleged DUI.
Bobby’s attorney Tiffany Feder released the following statement: “Everyone is innocent until proven guilty and Mr. Brown was not driving erratically. He was speaking on his cell phone. Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident. Mr. Brown is taking this matter seriously and an investigation is underway. The legal process shall run its course.”
It is rumored that Whitney’s mother and Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston felt her the news of Bobby Brown’s arrest confirmed her allegations that he was responsible for Whitney's demise.

Rumors have swirled for weeks in regards to a Bobbi Kristina/ Tyler Perry collaboration in the works, but ET can now confirm that Whitney Houston's daughter has just landed a plumb role on Perry's TV show, For Better or For Worse.
A representative for the prolific writer/director/actor tells ETonline that 19-year-old Bobbi, who has no previous acting experience, will have a recurring role on season two of Tyler's TBS hit sitcom.
For Better or For Worse is based on characters introduced in Perry's film Why Did I Get Married?, revolving around a married couple played by Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith.

Probably because Whitney herself said in one Interview that Disney asked for BK, and Nippy refused with the argument that BK is so "Not Disney, she would cuss you out"...Was it in the Oprah Interview when she said that, I am not shure - but I could imagine Disney and BK not being compatible. And I do also think its totally okay for BK to wet her feet in acting by a TV show directed by Tyler Perry. Its just good for her that she is working soon and that she wont sit at home paralyzed and doomed to do nothing at all.

I just hope Krissi takes the acting route, not the singing route. She's setting herself up for BLEEP! because Whitney's her mother. Period.

EDIT: when she said to Oprah "we're gonna do the singing thing, the acting thing, the dancing thing", i mean, that's a lot..she has time, no need to rush into anything

Yes, I'll absolutely root for her, whatever way she chooses I'm sure we'll support her. I also think staying busy and working on her first project will be a good way to cope with grief.
