She looks so beautiful and maturated in that picture.

I know I haven't been on the site much lately, but I think about her so much and its still do heavy for me. I'm not to the point where I break down and cry, but I could get lost in my thoughts of her for a quick second before I snap out of it.

Its crazy that I miss her so much as if I saw her every day. I just thought maybe I should just act as if she was in one of her 6 month long stealth modes LOL. But I don't think that would help much.

Sigh.

Sidenote: Did anyone see on The Voice where Ceelo called her his fairy godmother. He spoke very highly of her and her talent and said that the music industry needs a big female voice.

I love the comments on YT:

I saw this preview today while watching 'Think Like A Man'... you could've heard a pin drop in the theatre when dear Whitney graced the screen. She looked so healthy, a little worn out but beautiful as always. During the final clip, when Whitney is talking to Sparkle, you could hear sniffles in the theater.

When this comes out its gonna be sold out in less then a minute.

Whitney looks absolutely amazing.

Whitney wanted this project for so long (w/ the beautiful Aaliyah being Sparkle). I’m thankful she accomplished this goal. I will definitely support the film and capture The Voice in her final movie….. fighting back the tears already.

Whitney, No one, And I mean no one; makes me smile the way that you do. May you rest in peace.

0:17 you see an angel, 0:39 you see an angel, 1:16 you see an angel , 1:53 you see an angel , & 2:05-2:07 you've seen an angel. May Whitney Houston R.I.P. <3 Your Fans

Whitney looks stunning. Wow.

Man, this is just surreal. Can't believe she is really gone.

The poster is nice, too. It really looks different from Dreamgirls. They are doing a great job with marketing this film.

Really missing Whitney right now. Tears, tears and more tears.

I'm having a really hard time with this. It's like I really want to see the movie because I know Whitney played her role! But at the same time, I don't want to see it, at all, because after that, I know! that it will be the Last Time for anything new.

I don't know, maybe I just won't go and see it. (Please don't judge me on that) I'm just as a huge fan as yall are. I just know that I will be back at square one if I see this movie when it comes out. I don't think I'll be ready. I see the Whitney clip of Brandy's behind the music and about broke down, body shaking and everything. I might wait till it comes out on DVD. As much as I LOVE her, I don't know if I could handle it in a theatre.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just burst into tears and I don't even know it is coming. But I am going to see this in theaters to give Whitney the support. I have decided I am going to take off from work and go to the first show (actually the first two back-to-back). I think the theaters will be relatively empty (plus there will be the matinee pricing) and I will just have a good cry with my kleenex. That's my suggestion. What do you think?

That poster was bittersweet. Sometimes I can literally hear her singing ILTY that day on GMA. Specifically when she came to the side of the stage I was closest to to sing to her mom and begin to cry...when that voice cracked as she teared up every heart dropped. Even the haters had to be silent and FEEL her in that moment. Sorry for the rant...the poster is nice.

Even though Jordin has the biggest part on the poster (and looks great), it's Whitney I keep on staring at.

Simply stunning. Graceful, classy, seasoned but still full of life. This has always been how I imagined her to look like in her 60s.

Look at those eyes. She's done countless photoshoots, but this is one photo that truly says a thousand words. It's almost like she's looking directly into your eyes, as if trying to tell you that she's weathered the storm but right now she's finally at peace and in a better place.

I don't know if this was posted here yet; it's an article on Sony's promo for Sparkle at CinemaCon:

"And "Sparkle," starring "American Idol" champ Jordin Sparks and Houston in a supporting role, perked up the crowd with its twirl through lavish period sets and cool score, eliciting a spirited skitter of applause at the end."

http://www.variety.c...152?refCatId=13

Sparkle was the only one they mentioned getting spontaneous applause.

Whitney Houston dazzles critics in "Sparkle" film preview

Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston in 2012's "Sparkle"

(Credit: Alicia Gbur/Sony) (CBS/AP) Critics and theater owners got a sneak peek of Whitney Houston's final film, "Sparkle," Wednesday night at the CinemaCon conference in Las Vegas. And they say they liked what they saw. Houston served as executive producer of the movie, which had already finished filming in Detroit when she died in Beverly Hills on Feb. 11 at age 48.

A brief preview featured Houston's trademark dazzling smile as she danced in a living room in celebration.

The remake of the 1976 movie stars Houston as the mother of three girls who form a singing group and struggle with fame and drug addiction. The movie, scheduled for release in August, was seen as a comeback vehicle for the superstar, whose career suffered in recent years as she battled with drug and alcohol abuse.

The preview footage largely focused on Jordin Sparks, who was seen playing a piano in a modest home, glasses dangling from her nose. In later scenes, she appeared glammed up in sparkling, curve-hugging gowns. It's the "American Idol" winner's first notable Hollywood role.

Cee Lo Green also sings in the movie.

Houston labored for 12 years to get "Sparkle" on the big screen. The film marked her first return to cinema since 1996's "The Preacher's Wife." Her Hollywood debut came 20 years ago in the blockbuster movie "The Bodyguard."

There's already some Oscar buzz building, with Access Hollywood movie critic Scott Mantz suggesting, "I'm calling this now: Whitney Houston will get nominated for Best Supporting Actress for 'Sparkle.'"

Oh man. You know what? That photo of Whitney in the poster? That photo just screams "Who said I can't sing? I'm gunna kick your arsee!" LOL. I can't wait for this.

It's funny because I couldn't care for any other photo on the poster other than hers :)

LOL, I told you the first time I saw the trailer that there's gonna be some Oscar talk here. And we're getting music next month? Wow. This is actually happening. It's so weird that she's not here.
