I HEAR ON 102.7 NYC, THAT ARISTA IS PLANNING ON RELEASING A CD COMPILED OF "UNRELEASED" WHITNEY HOUSTON MATERIAL. THEY SAID THE RELEASE DATE WOULD BE AROUND SUMMERTIME. THERE ARE ALSO MANY NEW DVD'S BEING RELEASED, (MOSTLY DOCUMENTARIES, NEW BOOKS- SOME OF THEM ARE TRIBUTE BOOKS & BIO'S). PLUS THERE IS A WALL CALENDAR SCHEDULED TO BE RELEASED FOR 2013.

As much as I would want that, but no, this is too early. I hope it is only a rumor. The energy and focus now should be Sparkle, the soundtrack and everything around it.

Would Arista PLEASE contact me to work for them? There is a way for this to be done tastefully in an appropriate amount of time. But I do understand their reasoning--strike while the iron is hot, so to speak. Since she has charted majorly, from a business standpoint, the best time to release this type of stuff is now while she's still hot and while they have the best chance of reaping a profit.

I wish they would, too! My gut tells me they're gonna do things half-baked and that's not going to fly. If I could get my ideas to Arista, I know I could do right by her legacy, heck just based solely on the footage I alone have.

How about let Sparkle get released, release the songs she did for that, let it run its course, THEN next year release some unreleased material. Don't do it so quickly....

Well regardless of what I think and want to happen, Arista's going to do what they do, whether it releases or not, I just hope it's done in a tastefully, classy way. But either way, I'll most likely be purchasing.

it's too soon, i think they should focus on sparkle completely, and then the unreleased material..as for that, i really hope we will finally get that MLIYL tour documentary!
