Looks real, but why would a mic be signed?
Posted Image Whitney, thank you for everything you've given me and the rest of the world!

mmmmh that's the other question. The seller said Nippy signed it in NYC at the Palace hotel in 2009.
Why use a photo for her signature if there is a chance to get it on mic. A work device for the !!!!!greatest voice of all!!!!!!!! :-)

There are going to be a lot more fake signatures now than before she passed.

It's interesting, my friend was just asking me something like, "don't you wish you had Whitney's autograph, you know, now that she's gone?" I was actually taken by this. First of all, I didn't jump on no Whitney bandwagon after she passed. I get so irritated with people who think that's why people want things like this.

And here's MY thing. I don't see myself buying something signed from Whitney. Let me explain. I like to think of an autograph as something personal. I wanted Whitney's autograph but I wanted it to be something I brought to her or something personal like that. I wanted to be there for the autograph. I can't see myself buying something with her signature on it from someone else. I may in the future find something interesting, a photo or *something* that is interesting that is verified and certified and legit that its her writing, but I can't see me buying an autograph from someone else. Too sketchy for me.

I doubt it's real. You'd be taking a real chance on putting some $ on that.

How would a signature be so 'perfect' on a such a curved surface? Unless she did it at home when everyone was asleep so she could concentrate? Then of course, the question begs, does she take her microphones home with her? Or indeed back to the hotel? I guess it is anyone's guess whether it is fake or not.

I feel the same way. I have several autographs of famous people, but they only are dear to me when they signed it especially for me. I got one (actually two) from Annie Lennox, of whom I'm a big admirer but it came with an order I made on her website, so nothing personal about it. Same goes for the one of Alanis Morissette. LOOOOVE her (almost as much as Whitney, and in some ways even more so) but the signed cd I have is less special to me than for example the cd that Brandy signed for me or the book by Bill Clinton.

So, I would never buy anything of Whitney just for the autograph. Maybe I'd want an outfit she once wore ;)

Exactly. I'm also an Elvis fan so if something comes up that is authentic and cool and signed then I may buy it. Maybe in the future I will see something of Whitney's that is also signed, yes I might buy it. But it's the same for me about it being personal.
