Yay, Fandango says "Sparkle" is #1 in ticket sales on their website this week! I hope that applies everywhere.
Edited to add: I can't believe "The Odd Life Of Timothy Green" is opening in more theaters than "Sparkle." It annoys me that "Sparkle" is considered more "niche" because it's an African American cast. It bothered me to see it playing in less Manhattan theaters than I expected. It has to sell more tickets per theater to compete with other films opening this week.

If tomorrow is judgment day ...
And the Lord asks me what I did with my life,
I will say I spent it with you.
And the Lord asks me what I did with my life,
I will say I spent it with you.

BeBe at the premiere. He's talking about when they had the premiere for "The Bodyguard" at the same theater, and she was nervous and didn't want to cross the street to go to the premiere. But for "Sparkle," she had felt that she evolved as an actress and wasn't nervous.

Krissi looked great! That dress and those shoes were fire! I was annoyed at the dumb questions the reporter was asking everyone.

I'm just watching the livestream. Everyone looked great. The only problem was that, Whitney should've been there! She would've OWNED that red carpet! This was her time. But, nevertheless, everyone was beautiful, Krissi and Nick, the cast, other stars, Bebe, Kim.
I hope that theater has lots of tissues.

Kinda sad as I watch, just thinking Whitny should be there and what would she have worn. Tearing up, let me pull it together.
"I know, that when you look at me
there`s so much that you just don't see,
but if you would only take the time,
I know in my heart you'd find
Oh! a man who's scared sometimes,
who isn't always strong."

OMG! That photo BROKE MY HEART!
For a split second it was as if she was still with us.
Watching the red carpet, there was no doubt whatsoever that WHITNEY was the STAR and her loss was evident.
Miss you Whitney!

That photo shocked me completely! It didn't seem "not real" at first because they would totally be together on that red carpet for this movie. But then it made m realize that she is gone and Krissi did it without Whitney. I think she did a great job.
